// This study surveyed final-year Australian speech-language pathology students to assess their readiness and interest in voice-related clinical work. Students valued voice quality and noticed their own voice more during training but felt more confident in assessment than intervention. Interest in voice disorders was higher than confidence, and a singing background did not affect these factors. The findings suggest a need for enhanced education and clinical training to improve students' confidence and competence in voice therapy.
