// Magnetic Resonance Imaging Artifact Associated With the Oticon Medical Sentio Ti Transcutaneous Bone Conduction Hearing Implant
// This study assessed MRI artifact and image distortion caused by the Oticon Medical Sentio Ti bone conduction implant in a cadaveric head. MRI scans using standard and metal artifact reduction techniques showed significant nondiagnostic distortion in the ipsilateral temporal bone regions after implantation. The axial T1 turbo spin echo high bandwidth sequence reduced artifacts best but still failed to produce diagnostic images on the implanted side. These findings highlight challenges in MRI surveillance, especially for cholesteatoma, in patients with this implant, impacting clinical decisions for hearing loss treatment.
