// This study examined how static pictures versus dynamic videos influence referent introduction in Turkish Sign Language narratives by early signers. Participants retold stories using lexical signs, classifier predicates, and other strategies, analyzed through Bayesian multilevel multinomial logistic regression. Results showed lexical signs were the main method for introducing characters, with no significant differences across stimulus types or age groups. The findings suggest referent introduction in signed narratives is stable across different visual stimuli, informing sign language research methods and task design.
