// This systematic review analyzed 39 studies on pediatric frontonasal and orbital dermoid cysts to assess how lesion location affects intracranial extension, surgery, and recurrence. It found that midline lesions, especially those with sinus tracts, have a higher risk of intracranial extension and recurrence, while lateral periorbital lesions are usually superficial with low complication risk. Surgical strategies should be tailored according to lesion location and depth to optimize outcomes.
