// This study adapted the Cochlear Implant Skills Review to create the Pediatric Cochlear Implant Skills Review (Ped-CISR) for assessing real-time skills and device knowledge of adults caring for children with cochlear implants. The Ped-CISR was tested on caregivers, educators, and service providers, with scoring by multiple raters showing high inter- and intrarater reliability (ICC = .801). While total scores did not differ significantly between groups, specific skill areas like Battery and Indicator Light showed group differences. The Ped-CISR is a reliable clinical tool to identify knowledge and skill gaps among caregivers and professionals supporting pediatric CI users.
