// This study examined phonological development in 30 Jordanian Arabic-speaking children across three age groups using whole-word measures. Researchers adapted the phonological mean length of utterance to include gemination and analyzed interactions with parents using age-appropriate toys. Findings showed significant age-related differences and correlations among most phonological measures, except whole-word correctness. The results suggest these measures effectively assess phonological abilities in this population.
