// This scoping review examined research on culturally responsive swallowing assessment and management for individuals with dysphagia from diverse cultural backgrounds. The review analyzed 57 studies, mostly focusing on translating assessment tools for different languages and highlighted the impact of dysphagia on cultural food practices. Personalized, culturally informed approaches like ethnographic interviewing and shared decision-making improve care. The study concludes that culturally responsive speech-language pathology practices for dysphagia remain under-explored.
