// Long-term outcomes after recovery from pediatric acute sinusitis with orbital complications

這項回顧性研究調查181名急性鼻竇炎合併眼眶併發症兒童，平均追蹤647天｜大多數患者無長期問題，僅7.8%發展為慢性鼻竇炎｜病情初期嚴重度及治療方式皆無法預測疾病持續或復發風險｜結果建議多數患童應接受基層醫療定期追蹤，確保恢復穩定。

// This retrospective study examined children with acute sinusitis and orbital complications to assess long-term outcomes and risk factors. Among 181 patients followed for an average of 647 days, most recovered without long-term issues, with only 7.8% developing chronic rhinosinusitis. Neither initial disease severity nor treatment type predicted persistent or recurrent disease. The findings support routine follow-up with primary care for most affected children.
