// This scoping review examined relationships between listening abilities and internalising behaviours in school-aged children. It analyzed 18 studies measuring listening (mainly auditory memory and processing) and internalising behaviours (primarily anxiety and depression). Findings showed poorer auditory memory and processing were often linked with increased depression, with inconsistent links to anxiety and other behaviours. The study concludes that auditory memory is notably associated with some internalising behaviours, highlighting the need for broader research to inform educational interventions.
