// Finding the Right Fit: Caregiver and Clinician Perspectives on Intensive Treatment Schedules for Childhood Apraxia of Speech
// This study examined caregiver and speech-language pathologists' views on two intensity schedules for treating childhood apraxia of speech using DTTC therapy. Eight caregivers and four SLPs from Australia and the US experienced either a blocked schedule (3 hours in a row) or a distributed schedule (three 1-hour sessions weekly). Findings showed both schedules required significant commitment and neither was clearly preferred or more acceptable. The study concludes that both blocked and distributed schedules are viable, and treatment decisions should consider individual child, family, clinician, and policy factors.
