// This study examined the link between headache and hearing impairment (HI) in adults aged 45 and older using data from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study. Using multivariable logistic regression and adjusting for confounders, a significant positive association between headache and HI was found, stronger in males than females. The findings suggest headache may contribute to HI potentially via vascular pathways, indicating early headache management could help prevent HI. Further research is needed to explore underlying mechanisms and confirm results in diverse groups.
