// This systematic review analyzed clinical practice guidelines on acute otitis externa to identify key recommendations for prevention, diagnosis, and management. Four high-quality guidelines published between 2014 and 2024 were included, highlighting interventions such as injury avoidance, ear canal care, patient education, diagnostic assessment, and pharmaceutical treatment. These findings will inform the WHO Package of Ear and Hearing Care Interventions (PEHCI) to support integration into national health services. The review promotes evidence-based strategies for improving ear care globally.
