// This study piloted a student-facilitated teleaudiology model for diagnosing hearing loss in infants under 6 months in Victoria, Australia, and explored caregiver experiences. Eight families participated in in-person or teleaudiology appointments, with interviews analyzed thematically. Caregivers reported that teleaudiology improved accessibility and convenience but raised concerns about emotional support in complex cases and confidence with student facilitators. The study concludes that while teleaudiology can enhance access, family preferences and case complexity must be considered, and further research with larger samples is needed.
