// This study validated the German adaptation of the Cochlear Implant Quality of Life (CIQOL)-35 Profile, a patient-reported outcome measure for adults with cochlear implants. Using data from 204 adults, the instrument demonstrated good reliability (Cronbach's α = 0.84-0.91) and strong convergent validity with the Nijmegen Cochlear Implant Questionnaire. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the construct validity of the German CIQOL, showing it is a reliable and valid tool with higher validity than the NCIQ. The validated German CIQOL supports better clinical assessment and international research comparability in hearing-related quality of life.
