// This study assessed vestibular function and postural stability in chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) patients using video head impulse test (vHIT) and computerized dynamic posturography (CDP). While vHIT showed normal semicircular canal function, CDP revealed significant mediolateral balance impairments linked to disease duration and perforation severity. These results indicate subtle vestibular deficits in CSOM beyond hearing loss and support routine vestibular evaluation for early detection and rehabilitation.
