// This study evaluated bone-conducted cervical vestibular-evoked myogenic potentials (BCcVEMP) as a method to assess vestibular function in infants and newborns. BCcVEMP was tested shortly after birth and again at one year in 53 infants, showing vestibular responses in 72.6% of ears initially and 94% at follow-up. Results indicated improved wave reproducibility and shorter latencies at one year, supporting BCcVEMP as an accurate early vestibular assessment tool. The method can complement hearing screening and only requires retesting if initial results are negative.
