// How acceptable is high-intensity speech intervention for children with a cleft palate? A qualitative study
// This study compared children's retrospective acceptability of high- versus low-intensity speech intervention for cleft palate using the Theoretical Framework of Acceptability. Semi-structured interviews with 11 children revealed mixed feelings: some preferred high intensity for faster progress despite fatigue, while others valued lower intensity. Findings highlight that intervention planning should consider children's emotional responses and daily lives, suggesting a flexible approach to balance intensity with individual preferences for better adherence and outcomes.
