// This study analyzed vestibular dysfunction patterns in 130 ISSNHL patients to assess their clinical features and hearing prognosis. Fourteen dysfunction subtypes were found, with more extensive dysfunction linked to higher vertigo incidence and poorer short-term hearing recovery. Notably, ACS-cVEMP abnormalities independently predicted worse hearing outcomes. The findings suggest comprehensive vestibular assessment can aid in evaluating inner ear damage and prognosticating hearing recovery in ISSNHL.
