// This study examined how cesarean section (CS) and maternal history of allergic diseases (MHAD) affect allergic rhinitis (AR) risk in children. Using a case-control design with logistic regression, both maternal CS and MHAD were found to independently increase AR risk. A significant interaction showed that combined maternal CS and MHAD greatly amplified this risk. The findings highlight the need to consider both factors in preventing childhood AR.
