// This study evaluated the validity and clinical utility of a manikin-based audiometric simulator for pure-tone hearing assessments. Using an online questionnaire and in-person testing with 38 trained participants, the simulator showed high accuracy with audiograms matching within 5 decibels. Participants found it easy to use and realistic, though cost and technical support were barriers. The simulator is a valid tool for audiometric training with promising clinical applications.
