// This study evaluated early activation of sound processors after single-stage bone-anchored hearing implant surgery in children. Implant stability was high from surgery and improved over 24 months, with 100% implant survival and minimal, non-persistent skin reactions. Audiological results showed better hearing compared to pre-surgery softband use. The findings support that early loading of these implants is safe and effective in pediatric patients.
