// Defining Norms, Reliability, and Thresholds for Tone Burst-Induced Masseter Vestibular-Evoked Myogenic Potential Testing Through Bone Conduction
// This study established normative values and test-retest reliability for bone conduction (BC) masseter vestibular-evoked myogenic potentials (mVEMPs) using 500 Hz tone bursts in healthy young adults. BC mVEMPs showed consistent P1 and N1 latencies with fair to good reliability, especially for P1 latency and asymmetry ratio. No significant differences were found based on ear side or sex, and responses were reliably elicited at high stimulus intensities. The findings support BC mVEMP as a stable, noninvasive tool useful for evaluating vestibular function, particularly in patients with conductive hearing loss or muscle weakness.
