// This study examined question use in conversations of individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) compared to healthy controls by coding question types and social actions from transcripts. Analysis showed that people with TBI used significantly fewer polar (yes/no) questions than controls. Other differences in content, functional, and repair-initiating questions were observed but were not statistically significant after correction. The findings highlight altered question patterns in TBI, suggesting further research is needed to understand their impact on conversational effectiveness.
