// This study examined vocabulary knowledge in adults with developmental language disorder (DLD), focusing on vocabulary breadth and depth. Using the PPVT-5 for breadth and a novel scoring system on the WASI-II Vocabulary subtest for depth, adults with DLD scored significantly lower than peers with typical language. Vocabulary breadth showed a larger deficit than depth in adults with DLD. The results emphasize assessing both vocabulary breadth and depth to understand language ability in adults with DLD.
