// This study reports cochlear implant outcomes in a 26-year-old with rapidly progressive hearing loss due to KLHL11-IgG rhombencephalitis. The patient underwent bilateral simultaneous cochlear implantation despite systemic disease progression. Postoperative speech perception significantly improved at one year compared to preoperative and early postoperative testing. The findings suggest cochlear implants can provide meaningful hearing rehabilitation in this condition, though further research is needed on long-term effectiveness.
