// The Pediatric Cochlear Implant Use Questionnaire: Assessing Habits and Barriers to Use

本研究開發「兒童人工耳蝸使用問卷（PCIUQ）」，以了解兒童日常使用習慣及障礙｜由89位兒童人工耳蝸使用者的照護者填寫，主要障礙為裝置固定困難及損壞恐懼｜問卷分數與實際日戴時間呈負相關，顯示PCIUQ能有效協助臨床識別使用障礙，並與減少使用密切相關。

// This study developed the Pediatric Cochlear Implant Use Questionnaire (PCIUQ) to identify daily use habits and barriers to cochlear implant (CI) use in children. The PCIUQ was completed by caregivers of 89 pediatric CI users, showing varied barriers, primarily processor retention and fear of damage. The questionnaire scores negatively correlated with actual daily CI wear time measured by CI software data logging. Thus, the PCIUQ is a useful tool for clinicians to detect barriers and is strongly associated with reduced pediatric CI use.
