// This study explored how Australian speech-language pathologists support children with complex communication needs in multilingual families. Through interviews with 23 practitioners, thematic analysis revealed strategies to align expectations, improve communication with families, and tailor resources to community needs. The findings highlight challenges similar to international research, particularly in developing suitable multilingual communication systems. Overall, the study identifies both successes and ongoing difficulties in providing culturally appropriate interventions.
