// This study reviewed postoperative complications after injection laryngoplasty for minor laryngeal clefts in children to assess their effect on swallowing outcomes. Among 48 patients, 20.8% had complications, but these did not significantly affect dysphagia improvement or Penetration-Aspiration Scale scores. Both hyaluronic acid and methylcellulose injections showed similar operative factors, though hyaluronic acid had a non-significantly higher complication rate. Overall, complications were not associated with worse swallowing function, supporting informed discussions on treatment risks and benefits.
