// This study evaluated spoken language outcomes in children with severe-to-profound hearing loss who received cochlear implants before 24 months across multiple centers. Using standardized language assessments, earlier implantation—especially before 9 months—was linked to significantly better language scores at age 3. Sociodemographic status measured by Social Vulnerability Index was related to language outcomes but not to implantation age. The findings support early cochlear implantation to improve language development in this population.
