// This study established normative values for the NIH Toolbox Words-in-Noise (WIN) test in English-speaking children and adults aged 3-85 years. Data from a large national sample showed that age significantly affected WIN signal-to-noise ratios (SNR), with poorer performance at the youngest and oldest ages. Gender and race/ethnicity had minor effects, while test-retest reliability for adults was high. The findings support the validity and reliability of the WIN test for assessing speech-in-noise abilities in English-speaking adults.
