// This study aimed to identify predictors of orbital involvement in children with periorbital infections and assess related hospital costs. Using retrospective data from 219 patients, key predictors of orbital disease included age, symptom count ≥3, extensive sinus involvement, and elevated CRP levels. Orbital involvement was linked to significantly higher hospital costs, especially in service and medication categories. The findings support early identification of severe cases to improve management and resource allocation.
