// This study evaluated the validity of the Cepstral Spectral Index of Dysphonia (CSID) to assess voice quality in Persian speakers. Acoustic and perceptual analyses were conducted on sustained vowels and connected speech from patients with voice disorders and healthy controls. Results showed high diagnostic accuracy and strong correlations between CSID values and dysphonia severity across speech tasks. The study concludes that CSID is a reliable tool for objectively quantifying dysphonia in Persian-speaking clients.
