// Impact of Presentation Order on Pitch Ranking Sensitivity in Cochlear Implant Users and Normal-Hearing Listeners and Its Mitigation
// This study examined pitch perception biases in cochlear implant (CI) users and normal-hearing (NH) listeners using unilateral pitch ranking tasks. Both groups showed similar difficulty discriminating pitch with biases influenced by the presentation order of electrode pairs or stimuli. Results suggest an asymmetric context-dependent bias affecting pitch judgments, linked to how subjects compare sequential stimuli. Controlling for these biases is crucial for reliable psychophysical assessment of pitch perception in CIs.
