// Effects of Long-Term Contact Lens Use on Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex Using Rotary Chair and Video Head Impulse Testing
// This study examined whether long-term contact lens wear affects vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) gain and suppression at various frequencies. Twelve myopic adults were tested with and without contact lenses using rotary chair testing and video head impulse tests. Results showed no significant differences in VOR gain or suppression between conditions, though pupil tracking was sometimes harder and VOR variability increased with lenses. The study concludes that contact lens wear does not significantly impact VOR measures but recommends caution during testing due to tracking challenges.
