// This study systematically reviewed outcomes of venous sinus stenting (VSS) for pulsatile tinnitus (PT), including cases with and without idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH). Meta-analysis of 32 studies with 850 patients showed VSS led to overall PT improvement in nearly 90% and complete resolution in 87%, with low recurrence rates around 11%. Improvement rates were similar between IIH-associated and isolated PT, though recurrence tended to be higher in IIH cases. The findings support VSS as an effective and durable treatment for PT, with underlying IIH possibly affecting long-term outcomes.
