本研究比較唐氏症兒童中囊內扁桃腺切除術（IT）與全扁桃腺切除術（TT）對阻塞性睡眠呼吸中止症（OSA）的療效｜回顧性分析顯示，IT術後併發症較少，且呼吸中止嚴重度及症狀改善與TT相當｜OSA復發率相似，且IT患者無需追加手術，支持IT作為此族群安全且有效的首選手術方案。

// This study compared intracapsular tonsillectomy (IT) and total tonsillectomy (TT) in children with Trisomy 21 and obstructive sleep apnea. Retrospective analysis showed IT had fewer postoperative complications and similar improvements in apnea severity and symptom resolution as TT. OSA recurrence rates were comparable, and no IT patients needed further surgery despite some tonsil regrowth. The findings support IT as a safer, effective first-line surgery for OSA in this population.
