// This study evaluated the psychometric properties of MyCommunication-Adults, a patient-reported measure of communicative participation. Using data from 500 adults with communication problems, the item bank was reduced from 133 to 42 items showing strong structural and construct validity. Two short forms were developed for clinical use, demonstrating high reliability. The measure effectively captures communicative participation as a distinct but related construct to general social participation.
