// This study examined the effect of using uncalibrated consumer devices on the German Matrix Sentence Test (GMST) in remote settings. Twenty normal-hearing participants completed the test both in a lab with calibrated equipment and remotely using consumer hardware via a browser platform. Results showed high reliability and strong agreement between remote and lab tests, with no significant impact of device type or environment. The findings support the use of the MST for accurate and reliable remote hearing assessments.
