// This study examined the frequency of epilepsy among children presenting with dizziness by analyzing clinical data and EEG results from 736 patients. EEG revealed epileptiform activity in 11.6% of cases, much higher than the general population prevalence of 1%. Most patients with epileptiform discharges showed improvement with antiseizure treatment, as 87.4% had complete resolution of dizziness. The findings suggest dizziness can be a sign of epilepsy in children, highlighting the diagnostic and therapeutic importance of EEG in such cases.
