本研究檢測新型腺相關病毒AAV-PHP.S能否標記小鼠外耳感覺神經｜病毒攜帶螢光標記基因注射後，約16%頸靜脈神經節神經元被標記，且外耳多數神經纖維呈現強烈螢光表達｜結果顯示AAV-PHP.S有效轉染包含迷走神經耳支（ABVN）在內的外耳感覺神經，具標記與研究應用潛力。

// This study tested whether a new adeno-associated virus (AAV-PHP.S) can label sensory nerves in the mouse external ear, including the auricular branch of the vagus nerve (ABVN). The virus carrying a fluorescent reporter was injected into mice, and expression was examined in relevant sensory ganglia and ear nerves. Results showed successful labeling of about 16% of neurons in the jugular ganglion and strong reporter expression in most external ear nerve fibers. The findings demonstrate that AAV-PHP.S effectively transduces sensory nerves of the external ear, including the ABVN.
