// This study evaluated the feasibility of total transcanal endoscopic modified radical mastoidectomy (TTEMRM) for extensive mastoid cholesteatoma in 16 patients over five years. Using TTEMRM, complete cholesteatoma removal was achieved by lowering the posterior canal wall, with minimal complications and low recurrence. Two cases required revision surgery due to recurrence, while most patients showed no recurrence. TTEMRM offers advantages like no external incision and improved surgical visualization, making it a useful option for selected extensive cholesteatoma cases.
