// This study examined the link between hearing aid users' daily manual abilities measured by the ABILHAND questionnaire and their hearing aid handling skills assessed by professionals. A shortened version, ABILHAND Light-7, was developed and shown to correlate with age and professional assessments. Threshold scores were established to assist hearing care professionals in selecting suitable hearing aids and batteries. The ABILHAND tools effectively help guide device choices based on patients' manual dexterity.
