本研究比較年輕成人、聽力正常的高齡者與聽力受損高齡者對音頻與視聽媒體片段愉悅度（情感價值）的評價｜聽力受損高齡者在環繞音效及特定對話與背景聲比下評價較低｜視覺提示能提升愉悅感，但環繞音效無法改善聽力受損者的負面影響｜調整對話與背景聲比有助提升其媒體欣賞體驗。

// This study assessed how younger adults, older adults with normal hearing, and older adults with hearing loss rated the pleasantness (valence) of audio-only and audiovisual media clips under different sound conditions. Older adults with hearing loss gave lower valence ratings, especially with surround sound or certain dialogue-to-background ratios. Visual cues improved valence ratings, but surround sound systems did not mitigate negative effects for those with hearing loss. Improving dialogue-to-background ratios can help older adults with hearing loss enjoy recorded media more.
