// This study examined how speech-language pathologists diagnose acquired apraxia of speech (AOS) in individuals with aphasia and possible motor speech impairments. Eight SLPs reviewed videos and completed the Apraxia of Speech Rating Scale, revealing low confidence and poor agreement in AOS diagnosis. Key perceptual features noted were prosodic elements and groping, but reliability was generally low. The results emphasize the need for specialized training to improve diagnostic accuracy and clinician confidence.
