// This study examined the effectiveness of Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) therapy for children with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) when clear vinyl masks were worn. Four 4-year-old children underwent 24 DTTC sessions over 8 weeks, with treatment effects assessed quantitatively and experiences explored through caregiver and clinician interviews. Results showed that mask wearing did not prevent treatment gains, with two participants showing significant improvements and one showing marginal gains. Overall, masks were viewed as inconvenient but did not substantially hinder therapy success compared to teletherapy.
