// This study investigated the relationship between stuttering impact and trust in the health care system and physicians among adults who stutter in India. Using cross-sectional surveys of 118 participants, it found strong negative correlations between stuttering impact and trust in both health care system and physicians. These relationships remained significant even after controlling for age, gender, and income. The findings highlight the need for speech-language pathologists to address stuttering’s influence on health care trust to improve support and advocacy.
