// This study evaluated the effectiveness of the Childhood Dysphagia Management Scale (CDMS) in improving pediatric dysphagia care at a children's hospital. Using mixed methods and implementation science frameworks, the researchers compared referrals and follow-up care before and after CDMS implementation in 1127 patients. Results showed significant increases in referrals and better alignment with CDMS scores post-implementation, especially for patients with Down syndrome. Qualitative analysis revealed mechanisms supporting improvements and identified challenges such as access and family burden.
