// This study evaluated a value-based healthcare redesign using an integrated practice unit (IPU) to improve access to pediatric adenotonsillectomy in Warsaw. The IPU program standardized care, centralized scheduling, and monitored patient outcomes, leading to a significant reduction in median waiting times from 56 to 4 weeks over two years. Surgical throughput increased, operating room efficiency improved, and safety remained stable. The findings suggest that VBHC-informed IPU redesign can enhance service efficiency and patient access in pediatric otolaryngology.
