// This study developed and validated the Pediatric Auditory-Perceptual Evaluation of Voice (PAPE-V) protocol for assessing children's voices using either visual analog or Likert scales. Ten specialists rated voice samples from 102 children aged 3-17, finding high interrater and intrarater reliability across all conditions. Reliability was higher in children with voice disorders and those under 6 years old, with no significant difference between scale types or sex. The PAPE-V offers a reliable and efficient tool for pediatric voice assessment using either scale.
