// This study systematically reviewed paediatric feeding and swallowing assessment tools to evaluate their alignment with Paediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) domains and psychometric properties. They identified 95 assessments mostly comprising parent questionnaires and clinician assessments, with most covering multiple PFD domains, but psychometric evidence was limited, especially beyond internal consistency. The findings suggest that accurate PFD diagnosis requires assessments combining both parent and clinician input with strong psychometric support across all domains. The authors call for further research to improve the reliability and validity of these tools for comprehensive PFD diagnosis.
